Diarrhea click here

Cause:
Diarrhea in dogs can be the result of poorly digestible food, changing food or an allergy to elements in the food. In addition, it is possible that a virus, worms or the Giardia (gastrointestinal parasite, see also Giardia) play a role in your dog's diarrhea.

Symptoms:
Frequent and loose stools
Possible fever (in this case go to the vet immediately)
Possible blood in the diarrhea (in this case go to the vet immediately)
Therapy:
If your dog is still active despite the diarrhea, has no fever and eats well, it is important that rest in the stomach and intestines is ensured by small amounts of water, little food and possibly anti-diarrhoea inhibitors. If, in addition to the diarrhea, your dog is also acting 'sick' and has a fever, it is important to go to the vet. Depending on the cause, a certain drug will be prescribed.
